Why Sylvatika Tribe?
‘Sylvatika’ comes from the Latin sylvaticus, meaning ‘that which grows in forests,’ from silva: forest, jungle.
In each of our dance disciplines, we honour nature as an essential vehicle for physical, energetic, mental, and emotional health.
Pachamama is our great inspiration: when we dance, we embody with our bodies the power of the four elements—fire, earth, air, water—and also ether, the essence that connects everything.
Why ‘Tribe’?
We use ‘Tribe’ because we believe in the importance of community, especially among women. When a woman heals, liberates, and transforms her body, she also modifies the energetic information of the collective. This is based on theories of information in energy fields: each conscious practice influences the shared energy network, raising and enhancing the vibration of all.
We understand dance as an act that resonates beyond the individual.
At Sylvatika Tribe, we offer you the opportunity to remember the dance that calls to you most, because if you are here, you were surely a priestess or powerful witch in another life who used dance as a means of connecting with the Divine. Let’s remember together!
Learning and understanding the technique gives you freedom: understanding the body and its movements allows you to express your essence fully, fluidly and confidently, unleashing your creativity and vital energy. Each movement helps you reconnect with your strength, your intuition and your essence, with the best technique, always up to date and adapted to all levels. We offer online and in-person lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students, designed to help you find the space that resonates with you.
In addition, we offer complementary lessons in yoga, hypopressive exercises, and yoguilates, along with powerful and liberating energy therapies, to ensure your overall wellbeing.
