The Biofield
The biofield is not just a spiritual idea, but a scientifically studied phenomenon:
- HeartMath Institute: It has been demonstrated that the heart emits an electromagnetic field detectable several metres away, which influences you and those around you.
- US National Institutes of Health (NIH): Recognises the biofield (energy field) as a key part of human wellbeing.
- Electrophotonics (Kirlian/GDV): Studies show that the energy of the field changes according to emotional or mental state.
- James Oschman, physicist and cell biologist: He explains that the body functions not only through biochemical signals, but also through bioelectrical signals and electromagnetic fields that regulate cellular functions and communication between organs.
- Dr Beverly Rubik, pioneer in bioelectromagnetism: She points out that the biofield acts as an informational matrix, altered by emotions, thoughts or traumas, and that it can be positively influenced by meditation, Reiki, sound and other energy practices.
When the biofield is coherent, the body functions harmoniously. When it is disturbed, it can cause physical and emotional imbalances, affecting the body’s ability to self-regulate and heal.
The biofield not only connects your organ systems, it is also sensitive to your emotions and thoughts, and can be altered by stress and emotional blockages. That is why it is vital to open, cleanse and expand it in order to maintain coherence between body, mind and energy, thereby improving your physical and emotional well-being.
During the session, your body can release trapped tensions and move spontaneously—a natural, healing process that requires letting go of mental control and trusting your body’s wisdom.
Innerdance is also an exercise in dissolving the ego and opening yourself up to direct experience with your superconsciousness. It is not about “doing”, but about allowing, about bringing your full attention to the physical, energetic and spiritual body.
When you heal, we all heal. Quantum physics reminds us that separation is an illusion: each individual liberation restores the global energy network that we share as humanity.
In an Innerdance session, you will experience:
- Emotional, energetic and physical release
- Deep regulation of the nervous system
- Activation of the biofield and the pineal gland
- Connection and activation of feminine energy (Shakti), the universal feminine energy that animates all life, the dynamic aspect of Being.
- States of clarity, sensitivity and intuition
- Dissolution of the ego and openness to the higher self
- Expansion of consciousness and sense of unity
- Transcendental connection with the Universe
- Peace, coherence and harmony
Frequently asked questions
Is Shakti Kundalini Innerdance an activation of Kundalini energy?
- Shakti is the dynamic, active universal feminine energy present in everything that lives and moves.
- Kundalini-Shakti is a form of Shakti, but in its latent, dormant or resting form, coiled within you at the base of the spine (Muladhara chakra). When it awakens, it begins to rise and open the energy centres (chakras), generating expansion of consciousness.
Analogy: Shakti is the entire ocean of energy. Kundalini is a specific tide within your body that can awaken and move.
When it is said that ‘the Kundalini awakens,’ what actually happens is that Shakti-kundalini is activated in its individual form within you, and begins to ascend through the chakras in search of union with Shiva (pure consciousness at the crown, Sahasrara).
So, is there activation of the Kundalini energy? Not exactly…
- Shakti activation → may be complete during the experience, feeling all your feminine energy. It can cause gentle involuntary movements, such as slight tremors, slight shaking, or flowing of arms and legs. Usually less intense and more integrated than a Kundalini spasm.
- Kundalini activation → partial, momentary or in microdoses; generally, there is no permanent or deep awakening, only flashes of that concentrated energy. When Kundalini is activated, especially partially or in flashes, it can cause intense, involuntary spasms, jerks or twists. It is usually felt intensely, concentrated in the spine or chakras, and accompanied by heat, vibrations or energetic expansion.
In other words: you can feel all the Shakti without Kundalini fully awakening.
Practical summary:
- Shakti: gentle, fluid, pleasant, you can feel feminine energy flowing.
- Kundalini: concentrado, intenso, columna y chakras, destellos momentáneos.
And what is this expansion of consciousness? And the states of peace and union with the Universal Matrix?
What usually happens is that a spark of Kundalini energy touches or temporarily activates higher consciousness, producing a sense of unity, clarity or transcendence. It is momentary and partial, like a ‘glimpse’ of pure consciousness. It is an experience of temporary Shakti–Shiva union.
- Surge durante prácticas como Innerdance, meditación o respiración consciente.
- Common sensations: peace, unity, expansion of consciousness, clarity, intense emotions.
- It can last from minutes to several hours.
- The body returns to its normal state afterwards.
- It is safe and controlled, an activation of Shakti that touches consciousness (Shiva) without risk.
What happens at Innerdance
- With the energy of the field active, your surrender, and the guidance of the facilitator: you move, open your body, and enter states of flow. Shakti awakens and circulates through your body. Internal sensations of energetic movement begin. Gentle spontaneous movements. A feeling of inner life.
- This may facilitate flashes of Kundalini, such as vibrations, heat, or intense sensations of expansion, but hardly complete or permanent awakening.
- It is safe because activation is temporary, controlled, and partial.
- Every time you experience Shakti, there may be a small awakening of Kundalini, but this does not mean that Kundalini is fully activated.
- You can have profound experiences of Shakti many times without an uncontrolled Kundalini awakening.
- It’s more like trying out the energy in microdoses, feeling it, experimenting with it, and letting it return to rest. Of course, this gives you the opportunity to integrate all the wisdom and healing that this energy has to offer you.
- Each Shakti experience can produce micro-awakenings of Kundalini, but not an uncontrolled awakening.
How does a session take place?
How is the Shakti Kundalini Innerdance session performed? Lying down on a mat, with your eyes closed, creating an intimate and safe space for a deeply internal journey. A session?
We begin with special exercises to prepare the body and mind for energy work: these may include conscious breathing, gentle ritual dance movements, or somatic release exercises, which facilitate openness and relaxation.
Then, special music begins to play; this music is designed to activate certain brain waves that facilitate deep states of relaxation, meditation, and energy activation.
During practice, the journey is internal: you invite yourself to feel the energies awakening in your body, allowing the experience to unfold in a space of calm and deep presence.
At the end, a gentle closing is performed to integrate the energetic work and return with a sense of balance, renewal, and deep connection with yourself.
